S/4HANA Production Operation Execution APP ID F2898

Hi experts,

I am delighted to see that with the release of S/4HANA 1709 new production operation execution apps became available. Knowing SAP ME this looks very familiar to me.

I just wonder if these Apps require additional system settings or prerequisites to run properly. Or do they even require SAP ME installed and integrated with the S/4HANA system? Hopefully not...

When I try to run these Apps I run into several problems...

"Manage Work Center Queue" throws an error right after start saying that there is no work center defined...

this is a strange message since the S/4HANA system is completely set up and working...

"Perform Work" Order/Operation doesn't find any orders and thus doesn't work either...

even though there are plenty of orders on the S/4HANA system..

"Perform Work" Material/Serial remains in endless loop after starting....

So I would be very happy I you could bring more light to this issues and telling me what is missing or wrong.

It would be a huge achievement I we could get these Apps to work...
