Dear All,
when importing routing via PAPI, the GUI representation does not get filled. Is there a way to import routing with GUI representation?
Thanks!
Best regards,
Matic
Request clarification before answering.
Have you tried first to export an existing routing, take its GUI Representation value, and then import such value via PAPI? Does it work?

Hi Sergiy,
I am not sure how that could be possible, because:
1.There is no field in the PAPI where we can define the GUI representation param. to be written to the routing
2.If there is a change from one routing to the other this change would not be in this GUI representation that we copy
Thanks!

What happens if you do not provide GUI Rep value? Can you then open the imported routing in Routing Maintenance?
I would not expect this field to be required for externally generated routings. And I would expect the system to generate such value automatically either during import or at the first opening in the Maintenance. But missing this value should not be an obstacle.
Hi Sergiy,
Yes I can open it in Routing maintenance. Your expectations are correct, it's not required. Missing value is an obstacle because in MII I read this value to show the routing on a custom dashboard, that's why I would need this GUI representation to be filled. So are you saying that when importing the routing there simply is no way to force the GUI representation to be created? Could you think of a workaround?
Thanks!
Best regards,
Matic
