risk rating transfer from IH to OH

Hi,

I am using EHP5 and classic EHS.

I know that the risk rating from IH to OH is possible but im unable to do it. Does it require any function module to be run in the

background?. Also, if there is no rating available in OH field, i.e no data is entered in the OH, will the transfer occur?.

My second question is that if the rating is available in IH, i.e if we have maintained the risk matrix as A being the highest with D being the lowest and in OH, we have only 3 values as A,B,C what will happen to the risk rating D from IH to OH after transfer of risk rating?.

Hi Dhinesh

You can transfer exposure profile ratings (IH) to the long-term average values of exposure groups (OH) by executing the report program by  choosing  Reporting - Exposure Groups -Transfer Exposure Profile Ratings to LTA Value of Infotype 1403.

The report program EHS_IHORG_EG_ADJUSTMENT (Transfer Exposure Profile Ratings to LTA Value of Infotype 1403),determines the highest ratings from the exposure profiles of the work areas that are linked to exposure groups and transfers these to the infotype 1403 of the corresponding exposure groups in accordance with a mapping table defined by the user. A test run is possible prior to the direct transfer.

Transfer Exposure Profile Ratings to LTA Value of Infotype 1403

Purpose

With this report program you can transfer ratings for the long-term average from the Industrial Hygiene and Safety (EHS-IHS) component to the Occupational Health (EHS-HEA) component.In Occupational Health, the rating for the long-term average is usually entered in the info type 1403 Exposure: LTA) of the respective Organizational Management object. You can enter an equivalent rating in Industrial Hygiene and Safety in the exposure profile for the work area.This report program determines the highest ratings from the exposure profiles of the work areas that are assigned to the respective Organizational Management objects by means of a link in the organizational plan and transfers these to the long-term average in accordance with a mapping table.

Prerequisites

• The necessary object types must be assigned to the info type 1403 in Customizing for Organizational Management under Maintain Info types.
• In Industrial Hygiene and Safety, work areas must be linked to the Organizational Management objects that have the info type 1403.
• In the exposure profiles for the work areas, agents must exist that are managed in the specification database. The ratings of other agent types are not transferred.
• You can match up data records with info type 1403 only once per day.

Selection

You have the following options in the initial screen:

• Test run w/o DB upd. Indicator

If you set this indicator, the data to be changed is displayed only and not written to the database.

• Transfer New Agents indicator

This indicator controls the transfer of new agents to the info type 1403 of the respective Organizational Management object.   If you set the indicator, agents that do not exist in the Organizational Management object are added.

• Plan version

You must specify which plan version is to be used to determine the data.

• Key date

You use the key date to specify which data records are valid.

• Agent Type

If you specify an agent type, only the ratings of agents of this agent type are transferred.

• Mapping of Ratings

As the ratings for Industrial Hygiene and Safety can be set in Customizing, you must enter in the mapping table which ratings from Occupational Health (OH Rating) correspond to the ratings from Industrial Hygiene and Safety (IH Rating).

1.2. Also, if there is no rating available in OH field, i.e no data is entered in the OH, will the transfer occur?

    Even if there is no rating maintained in info type 1403, the transfer will occur. the blank field will get updated with the exposure profile rating.

Answering to your second question we can synchronize the IH & OH Rating, system will take only  the rating  we give in the t_code EHSASSLTA. lease find the below screen shot for details:-
