When doing an RFC_READ_TABLE, I am getting a NOT_AUTHORIZED error. Is there something in SAP that I need to tuen on for the User ID I have assigned in MII?
Request clarification before answering.
Check permissions for the transaction SE37 for that User ID?

Your user need rights to execute RFCs which can be changed in su01. I think the authorization is S_RFC_ALL. The usage of se37 is not the same.
