Dear Experts

I am unable complete the result recording for the an operation. The system is generating the error

"Enter a inspection unit number or serial number".

Please find the screenshot as below. Requesting for valued guidance

Hi Ayaz,

Please follow the Serial number management properly. The Serial number should automatically flow into the inspection lot

To do this make sure.

1. The Serial number possible checkbox is set in the inspection type.

2. QMSL serialization procedure is maintain in the serial number profile assigned in the material master.

3. There are some limitation to the flow of the serial number in inspection lot, EWM managed and Insp type 10 lot do not have provision to allow the flow of serial number into the lot. Please check Relevant SAP notes for it.

Hi Ayaz,

Material you showed in the screen in serial number managed. Since you are adding result manually, system is asking the result is for which serial number. Is it the same as above one or new one?

Fill the value appropriately. Create serial number if you are testing (IQ01) or whichever method adopted in your SAP implementation (custom if any). Then assign the serial number here for reference.
