Dear Experts,
Would you please through some light on Restricted Access fields in Basic information and Investigation tabs.
How can i make this tab restricted to other Users?
What is the standard Role or Object that controls the restriction?
Would you give us an example, why would we require restricted access in basic information and also in Investigation?
thanks,
Quantum.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Quantum,

It has the following field : ACCESS_LEV (Incident Access Level)
As an example, in France only doctors are allowed to view an employee's work related illnesses. No one else is.

Philippe

Hi Naveen,
1) How can i make this tab restricted to other Users?
You open an incident and the "Confidential Access" access level is not assigned to your user. The incident comprises more than one involved person and at least one person has "Restricted Access" set to "Yes".
When you select people with restricted access, their data is displayed on the "Basic Information" tab although you are not allowed to access that data. When you select people with unrestricted access, their data cannot be displayed and you cannot restrict the access.
2) What is the standard Role or Object that controls the restriction?
There is no standard roles available for restricted, but you can adopt or customize for SAP_EHSM_HSS_INCIDENT_MANAGER role as per your requirement.
When you select restricted option, their data is displayed on the "Basic Information" tab although you are not allowed to access that data.
You need to specifies "Confidential Access" rights to your user. then only user can possible to see the data.
The level of access a user has to information in the incident such as access to
If an incident record is confidential, for example, only users with the corresponding access level can access the incident record.
Go to PFCG ( if you don't have access this T-code ask your basis team.
SAP_EHSM_HSS_INCIDENT_MANAGER adopt the role as per your requirement.(ZSAP_EHSM_HSS_INCIDENT_MANAGER).
Check the Authorization Object EHHSS_INC1. if it is not available insert manually.
select confidential Access.
If an incident record is confidential, assign this role to user. only users with the corresponding access level can access the incident record
3) Would you give us an example, why would we require restricted access in basic information and also in Investigation?
Tell me what is meaning of "Confidential Data"?
Confidential Data is a set of rules or a promise that limits access or places restrictions on certain types of information.Confidential is commonly applied to conversations between doctors and patients, That secrets shared between physician and patient during the course of providing medical care.
This is reason only restricted option available in EHS.
