The business scenario requires short term and long term rental - request placed on the portal type interface (commerce), ATP check and promise based on availability or create a reservation, quote for equipment and installation service with periodic maintenance built in. Management of servicing needs during the rental period is also a key requirement.
Costs need to be collected through an internal order. Equipment history, installed base, serial number management for warranty purposes need to be captured.
S4H 1809 backend with C4HANA.
Many blogs suggest that the functionality of erstwhile CRM is being progressively embedded into the S4HANA digital core. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
