in the Order POD Application each time a phase is started/completed a zero yield quantity confirmation is sent.
If your requirement is to send a zero yield quantity confirmation during the phase execution you can not use the standard quantity confirmation API / Plugin because they only support >0 Yield and Scrap.
I understood once we start phase, zero qty confirmation will be sent & it fulfills my requirement but while doing next steps i.e activity confirmation it throws an error 'No Yield/Scrap qty reported'.
Do we really need to do activity confirmation as we have done zero qty confirmation?
Also we tried directly clicking on complete button & it throws an error 'Cannot complete a phase without reporting an yield'.
there is a option in the routing/recipe for "quantity validation", if you want to complete a phase without reporting yield or scrap. You do not have to do a activity confirmation in each phase depending on your requirements.
If you only want to show certain Plugins in certain phases you can use guided steps.
