There is a list X and list Y specification . X specifications are present in the composition of Y specification . I want to get the list of X specifications having certain percentage ( only to show up > than certain % ) from the composition of Y specification .

Is there any easy way to do that . I hope there should be but how to combine % logic and do for the whole list . Any suggestion ?

Dear Krishna

If I understand correct: you would ike to know which specification contains specification X with percentage Z. .. This is done using the SAP standard (where used list). PLease check online help

If you would like to get then some "output" of the resutl: you can use e.g. output variants

PS: document has many references to topic as "where used list"; but you will find more links

Dear Krishna

still not sure what you would like to achieve... there are some "limitations" in SAP standard and may be the SAP standard does not fit your needs 100%

E.g. normally you do not use a "list of specification" as starting point to look for specifications in which this spec is used. In most case you will not do

this reasearch for all VATs of type composition or spec listing in one run,,,

On top we can diffeentiate two "search" interests

a.) to know that a specification is used

b.) to know that the specification is used with content e,.g, %

c.) a.) and b.) are executed in most cases only for one "VAT" (but you can use all VATs but then: depending on company size: you will get may be "shortdump "(out of time error)

In most cases it is only one "spec" which should be analyzed (where used list)

Without knowlegde of your "business background" (why do you need the data) it is not possible to help.

Take a look may be here:

All these threads discuss to a certain extent the "where used" topic

PS: because of the topci of "referencing" and "inheriting" the stroy might be "complexer" (and system reaction slower)
