Released MSDS Reports

Hi All,

I have created a report in CG02 and the message says 1 report created. When i go to CG50 i can see the same report being generated but i am unable to see the same in CG54.

Request your help at the earliest.

Hi veru,

Until the report is Released from report management we cant able to see in CG54 (Report information system), Check the status of the report.

Hi satyanarayana ,

i have released my reports from cg50 and it is showing as 1 report released but i can not see in cg54.

i even check my generation variant status is in release. even checked with CGSADM ,CG5Z and even i have tested my server connections through sm59. but there is no luck the same issue "can not find reports"

please can u share your expertise views and thoughts over here waiting for experts reply.

In CGSADM, please compare if the 'Service Parameters', and 'Remote function call parameters' (under RFC parameters) are same in Dev & Quality clients. These has to be client specific. If it same, please ask your system administrator to create client specific parameters for Quality client.

Hi Veru,

If you search this forum, I guess this has been discussed in many threads. You need to essentially consider below.

1. Check your Generation variant for what is the status defined there.
2. Have you set-up the generation server properly? Test connection in CGSADM and also check the logs in CG5Z
3. Check whether the generation jobs are defined on the generation server, and ask your administrator to verify if they are running.

We have installed common server for development and quality system. I can see the reports being generated in development system but unable to find the same in quality system.
