Regulatory Compliance Module Options

Aside from EHS regulations, can the SAP Compliance module offer tracking in other aspects of compliance ?

Example, regulatory compliance of products: country homologation, FCC, UL, EMC, product safety, wireless certifications, etc.

Another question,

Does SAP have the ability to flag/block the sale of a product to a specific country if it has not yet been country approved yet ? If a sales person were to make a sale of a product to a customer in Australia but the product has not been homologated there, will SAP flag/block this ?

SAP provide several solution options.

Option 1: Use SAP GTS to support this demand (you will find many threads discussing this here)

Option 2: Use SAP EHS and the "NOTICHECK" option to support the demand (you will find many threads discussing this here)

Option 3. Use SAP EHS SVT to support the demand (you will find many threads discussing this here)

Yes - this you can set-up blocks or warning dependent on your needs for sales order or deliveries. This works for volume based import restrications like REACH as well.

There is another product that in the past was bundled with EHS, but now it is its own solution area. That product is SAP Product Compliance.
