Redeployment of standard Resource adapter XMIIRFC

Hi all

In attempting to resolve an issue in our development MII system I removed the standard resource XMIIRFC02. I only have the cloned version now but would like to have the original back. I removed it via telnet...

Is there a way to redeploy that resource only or can it be implemented with a new NW stack upgrade? Or am I out of luck and need to reinstall MII again?

Regards,

Brandon

Hi Yogananda

Thank you for that, I am trying the first option but I do not understand the MII Management Console. I know the SAP Management Console but have never tried to launch the MII MC before. I cannot find documentation on launching it?

Sure, there are a few ways to redeploy the standard resource XMIIRFC02.

Option 1: Using the SAP MII Management Console

  1. Log in to the SAP MII Management Console.
  2. Click on the Resources tab.
  3. In the Resource Browser, expand the Standard Resources folder.
  4. Right-click on the XMIIRFC02 resource and select Deploy.

Option 2: Using the SAP MII SDK

  1. Import the SAP MII SDK into your development environment.
  2. Create a new project and add the XMIIRFC02 resource to the project.
  3. Deploy the project to the SAP MII system.

Option 3: Using the SAP MII command-line interface

  1. Open a command prompt and navigate to the SAP MII installation directory.
  2. Run the following command:
mii deploy resource XMIIRFC02

Reinstalling MII

If you have no other option, you can reinstall MII. However, this is not recommended as it will overwrite all of your custom resources.

Which option is best for you will depend on your specific needs. If you are comfortable using the SAP MII Management Console, then option 1 is the easiest option. If you are familiar with the SAP MII SDK, then option 2 is a good option. If you are comfortable using the SAP MII command-line interface, then option 3 is a good option.

If you are still unsure which option to choose, you can contact SAP support for assistance.
