Hi Gurus,

Can anybody tell me that what is the process of configuring Recipe Management? What is its master data and How we use it?

Hi Ibne,

Recipe Management (RM) is more related to Process industry like Pharma, Chemical industry. We can maintain any no.of recipes in RM with the classification of general, Site and Master. For further reference please refer help.sap.com.

Master data for Recipes are: Material master, Formula, substance etc...

It has integration with QM, Trial Management, PP-PI and EHS. We can control all recipe through RMWB transaction.

To configure Recipe Mangament, please do the following....

1. Activate the PLM in SPRO

2. Then do the configuration in the following path:

Production planning for Process Industries --> Master Data ---> Recipe management

3. Some configuration we have to under EHS in SPRO

Environment Health and Safety --> Basic Data and Tools
