what is the significant use of this spec type real_group ?

Dear Krishna

topics has been discussed very often here. This spec type belongs to those which are part of the "SAP standard". It can be used to "help" during maintenance (using either reference or inheritance). The use of it depends on the fact if or if not you would like to use "rulesets". If you use rulesets you need "just" to pay attention how you maintain the data on REAL_GRp.

  You use real substance groups to map real substance families that possess the same properties.

Specification Type - Specification Management (EHS-BD-SPE) - SAP Library

It is a data control specification, you can use it to contain certain sets of data that are strictly controlled and that relate to many Real Subs.
