Re-opening an incident in SAP EHS

Dear Experts

Is it possible to re-open a closed incident on SAP EHS. If it is possible, may I please know the steps to achieve this ?

HI Nash,

It is not possible to re-open the closed incident. only you can play with the status changes from inprocess to conference.by switching "Reset to Initial status".

Thank you for this.

The incident is closed and if I try change the status by using the  "Reset to Initial status", nothing happens, just get the error - "Final status reached for object 'Incident/accident log'.

I take it that this is the final status and cannot be changed.

Yes, that is true. close is the final status. after this nothing can be editable in the log.

If Business have such kind of the requirement, to re-open the incidents. then incidents must be in conference status at the end - shouldn't go for closed.

you can assign a version to closed incident
