Hi Experts ,
Has anyone used these program for generating worklist so far ? What things can we achieve using these two programmes ? Can we use this to triggger worklist for regenerating sds based on the informations which are changed in specifications ? It seems with the definition it provides but not sure whether anyone has really implemented this to do the updates in EhS and define criteria to run rules again and re generate SDS to make it compliant as per updated regulations ?

Krishna

Dear Krishna
this kind of functionality is really "basic" and online help is quite good here and this functionaliaty exists since years in EHS. It is not discussed often here. But you will find references in e.g.
Camilla has listed some threads. A year ago (????) big discussion was done hereregaridng rpos/cons etc.... Please use search functionality. to find it. Major topic is: tehre is no Standard functionaliyt that the tool will only generate "relevant" reports...
Only some examples of threads here (it took < 10 s to find them):
The story depends on "size of EHS" and EHS community in company. If you have too many specifications and reports and to many changes the set up of this process is "risky"
Even if you manage to set up the process form IT point of view: user community mjst accept and act....
And the "big" questions is: how many changes per day etc will happen? to trigger the process... if user community is not able to deal with it.. process is not worth to set up; even considering the fact than you can try to do "blocks" (run the process once a week only) result is "uncertain" (will user community accept etc.)
If you use: Rule sets, or especially if you use "inheritance" there is high IT risk (performance topics)
The decision to use the process is quite company specific. Especially if you get regular updates (content updates).
C.B.
PS: keep in mind: in most cases the "regenerated report" is of type "finished". Therefore if you look from top: user must act ! to be compliant
