Rate Type Configuration for Interval Register Group

Hi All,

We are implementing EDM for one of the electric utilities and want to know how we will configure rate types for interval register groups i.e. while performing full installation of meter, system is asking for rate types to be allocated to interval registers.Please let us know the complete process for configuring rate types for interval registers and please provide documents for steps of configurations of EDM end to end process like setting up GRID, allocation of GRID to POD ID, Installation, POD ID creation, allocation, Profile creation, allocation of Profile to device, settlement processes etc .

Hi Binod,

You need to use rate types permitted for interval meters. In general the definiton is the same as for the one permitted for registers and is done in customizing of billing master data.

Thanks for your response. If possible, please share any EDM Cook books to know the EDM Concepts like baseline configurations and manual configurations of EDM . Please provide step by step configurations documents as well .

such a cookbook doesn't exist as it is a big complex which needs extended consulting knowledge.
