"403 Forbidden" in financial planning

Dear All,

While clicking on financial planning in item,

it's showing error as "403 forbidden"

Kindly advise what could be a reason for the same? Am I missing any configuration or service activation?

This isn't a PPM problem, it an issue with access. Check with your basis or infrastructure admin person.

You can always try clearing your browser cache and restarting.

Hi Ken,

I have checked the roles assignment with the Basis team and it's looking good as per the std SAP configuration document.

Only, a pointer is if we need to add any entry in a user profile in SU01 as a user parameter for this? or some configiration related to it?

Am I missing any configuration or service activation? yes, that issue looks due to missing service activation

best way would be to check the Configuration Guide for SAP S/4HANA Finance for your implementation under section ICF Services (so you may avoid further http 403s)

quicker way would be asking your Basis Team to activate the related service based on URL that fails (which btw is not in your screenshots)

Could you suggest which service is missing based on below URL service.

This could be helpful for to idetify the exect route cause and reslove similar issues in other areas too where I am having same error.

Hi atul_rajmane

you are calling what is so called "external alias" /nwbc , check in transaction SICF if the related service names "nwbc" are active , i suppose these are not and the solution is to right click and choose activate

if these are active, please do right click and choose test service
