Quantity for SVT

Hello Gurus,

I want to maintain the threshold quantity for SVT for a particular chemical. Where exactly i can maintain it ? If possible please share the screen shot. I am new in SAP EHS.

Thanks Sunil and Christoph for your valuable response on my query. Would you please tell me where exactly i have to put the quantity in Material Master so that I can put a restriction on purchase, production and sales of the substance beyond a certain quantity. Please share screen shot if possible.

the whole maintenance is done "regulation" specificon specification level and not on material level. Plesse check SAP online help. E.G. Quantity Limits - Product Safety (EHS-SAF) - SAP Library

the screenshots of Sunil are helpful but may be "misleading" a little bit. The first screenshot is a "special limit" one (which is used only if there is a "special" limit to consider and not in context of "other" normal used approaches in SVT, the other ones are "only" related to the "tracking" results and not in context of "limitts". But in any case: they might help you.

I assume you are using current EHS SVT version. Therefore: please read the most important SVT note in context of SVT. This one is mentioned e.g. here.

Therefore: you need ot make sure that your "property tree" is "up to date" and the corresonomding customizing etc. has been donte (e.g. phrase generation etc.)
