Quantity Confirmation Beyond Tolerance Not Stopping in Order POD

Dear Experts,

Requirement:- We have a requirement where, during quantity confirmation from the Order POD, if the user enters a quantity beyond the tolerance limits of the order quantity, the system should block the posting to S/4HANA and display an error message or popup to the end user.

Current Issue:-When users post confirmations from the Order POD, even if the quantity entered is beyond tolerance, the POD displays the confirmation as successful, whereas the IMD shows the message as failed as we enabled the config checks in OPK4  “Error when overdelivery /underdelivery tolerance is exceeded” . This causes confusion for end users, as they are not notified of the failure.

Workaround Attempts: 

• Tried utilizing all available possible plugins including quantity confirmation plugins, but none were able to stop the posting if it exceeded tolerance limits. 
• Checked the quantity validation field in Manage Routing, which only works when “Start One Operation at a Time” is enabled.
• Tested using the Post Production POD, but the behaviour remains the same.

  Note:- We are using Order POD for Production orders and all the Collaboration Links are as per help doc.
