Quality certificate error

hi gurus

iam trying to create quality certificate for inspection lot iam getting this information and it is not allowing me to create quality certificate please help.

Please see the error as given below.

The specifications for charac. 0001 were not fou in cert.profile QMCERT01 Certificate type E22 Version 000006

what do you mean system design where can i check in mivc master dta.Please tell me what needs to be check.

Why did you mark your question as the best answer?

There multiple ways of setting up your COA profile to retrieve specs. I have no idea what your company is doing in the profile.

It's telling you that the cert profile is expecting to print specifications for charac 0001 (in the profile). But it can't locate them.

Usually this is because the system can't find a path the specifications. Check to see where the profiles says it's getting the results from. Then verify they are really there.

Often times if you specify "production chain" there is an unexpected break in the batch where used list.

Otherwise, it's usually a master data issue. I.e. the certificate profile form, the batch data, the inspection lot master data, etc. etc.. Hard to give you something specific to go look at without really knowing your design and system.
