Project Template not showing for Auto-creation of Projects while saving portfolio Items.

Hello experts,

I created project template and item template and made the settings for required mapping :

I can create the project from the portfolio item using the Check box "Create project on saving" and selecting a project template.

I transported the TR to the Quality system and i created a project template PRO-000004 (Status is Released). tHIS project template is not showing in the drop down for Auto-creation of Projects while saving portfolio Items because the ID is not assigned in the configuration. Why add IDs of templates here when it is a master Data ?

How can we solve this problem ?

In my opinion the SAP note 2637288 - Improvement Note for CC IR 201146 -Item type to Projecttemplate customizing to be system independent, can help you because the benefit is:

"As an end user, you can move the configurations done in one system to multiple target systems (one system after another). The report if executed multiple times to the same target system, it will over-write the old values"

The templates will get new internal numbers when they are created in each client. I have needed to open up configuration in each client to "correct" the configuration. I usually add this step to a cutover plan.
