Production Order Released in Background not Creating SFCs

I created an Order through Manage Orders app, Selected Release in Background.

Order was created but since then the SFC status is appearing as 'SFC Creation Requested'.

I cannot modify or discard the order in this state.

1. How to get the SFCs to be created?

2. How to discard this order if SFCs cannot be created?

Hi Steve,

I'm afraid you bumped into a temporary Order Release issue, so those SFCs might be stuck in a status where you can't do much by yourself to use them or discard the order.

If you can't leave that order behind and move on with a new one, I suggest you raise a ticket to get proper instructions from support colleagues.

Hi Stephen,

SFC are created in background but it is not visible on screen. So, just try to refresh the SFCs tab using the refresh icon on the top.(see the attached image).

Hi Pooja,

Refreshing does change the SFC Status. Created SFCs should be IN_QUEUE at the first router stop (Operation), they are not found there either.

Hi Stephen,

The created SFCs will have the status as "NEW" at the first router step until you start the first operation on the SFC.

The SFCs are not created yet as they are not searchable or appearing in the SFC List for the Operation in the POD.

I need to either force a creation activity or discard the order.
