Product safety integration with sales order

Hi Experts,

Can you please explain the linking between SAP Product safety with sales order while triggering the shipping of an MSDS to customer from a material shipping.

Link between product safety and SD you need to understand the reporting process  first.

The sender’s details must be entered on a material safety data sheet. These details include, for example, the address of the company, emergency telephone number, and names of contact persons who can provide information about a material safety data sheet.

System determines the sender data for the material safety data sheet via the sales organization (in general, the initiator) that was specified in the sales document. You can store other data in a text field for the sales organization in Customizing. You can extract all this data and print it on a report.

Hi Kapil

Integration with respective report shipping  between Product safety & Sales & Distribution process will be maintained in SPRO>> Environmental Health &safety>>> Product safety>>Reporting shipping

(Refer Below Screen shots) , here we have define the output types & conditions of MSDS Shipping

Once above configuration is done during sales/Shipping process we will select the respective output type of MSDS (Here SDB is standard one).
