Product release - missing update of dangerous goods master

The problem is that after assigning a specification to another dangerous goods classification, the value of the DG classification is not updated in the "product release" data in the DG master.

For example:

change classification of real substance C051355 to CL3352-III, call DGPREL, call DGE5, DGP3 also has correct data (see images DGPREL, DGP3)

change classification in CG02 to CL3082-III, the data in DGPREL is automatically updated.

after callingn DGE5 the UN number is updated in DGP3, but the DG classification in "product release" is still the old one (see image DGP3_2).

Only after entering DGPREL in change mode and after saving, the dangerous goods master is updated. (which is not very practical since you would have to enter DGPREL with every material changed).

Has one of you been facing the same problem?

In addition, if you upadte or delete the field "reference" of the real substance, the "product release" in the DG master is never updated or deleted.

Dear Michaela

I believe the story is like this: as long as you do not "rerelase" the changed data the old data will be used in the logistic process. So to my knowlegde this additional step is always required. This is the same like in the case you "activate" the "active indicator" for changed data in EHS or you release a newly created WWI report.

Regading active indicator: here you have the chance to do a set up in such a way that even if you have changed data it will be active.

I am sorry to say that to my knowledge this approach of "activly" release th DG master by a user is to my knowlegde the "best practise " / "Standard solution".
