Dear community, I need your help
My customer has a compliance Request From Logistics, an "Extend Business Process" for an already assessed market - for the Unpackaged Compliance view.
The request was triggered by a sales order of a related packaged product - Important to say that this Unpackaged Product View only related packaged products, as this customer trades (buys and sell) this goods in 2 packages.
I was convinced that Packaged Products inherit the Unpackaged Product view assessments and authorizations, unless otherwise specified in the "Market Assessment App". OR is always necessary to make the specific assessments for the packaged products?
Thank you in advance
Paulo Pinto

Hello
this is my current understanding "how it runs".
You have materials which are used in logistic process; this material is now sold (there is a sales order).
If the material should be active" (product compliance relevant) then you must maintain on material level this "activity" (but there is a Badi es well).
E.g. assume the material is representing a "service": this is not a chemistry and therefore you do not need data in Product Compliance.
PAY attention. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT to check your materials / material types and their use. Based on "clever" set up: new material are "immediate" active for PC: for tthe other case: based on setup: this would be a "case by case" decision which can be time consuming and "disrupt" the pocess (selling, purchasing etc.).
Assuming now: you have an active material (it is a "chemistry") which seems not to have a "CCI" (more precisely: no assigned compliance view),
Now you have two options:
Option one: you still have a "compliance" view (e.g. for a "unpacked" material descrigin teh same chemistry) and you have maintained data. By assigning the material to the "same compliance view" (CCI) this material should get the same data. And then the process is starting. Based on sales scenario and data constellatin etc. it can be that a new assessment is needed for the still existing CCI.
As discussed in one blog: this "unpacked" and "packed" story (and CCi and material) is not easy to understand
Hope this helps.
