WE have requirement to send product compliance data (like compositions / substance etc) to third party systems. Looking for standard out of box (without custom development) to send this data to third party systems.
We noticed that certain events are triggered (substance save)
Product Compliance Events and Tasks | SAP Help Portal
SPRO -> Product compliance Background processing -> Activate event linkage (can we leverage this)?
Can we send this events to event mesh? if we need to send this information to third party applications, How do we go about doing this?
or do we leverage the following configuration SPRO for production compliance (SPRO -> Product compliance -> Integration -> specify communication settings for integration into External systems)?
Request clarification before answering.
Hello krishg,
currently it is not possible to use the Product Compliance Events and Tasks for your scenario, as they cannot be sent to an event mesh.
The way to access the product compliance relevant data is by using the public APIs. Here a list of all available APIs: https://api.sap.com/search?searchterm=SAP_COM_0797&tab=APIs&$refinedBy=true&$type=(%22API%22,%22API%...
However, this only allows a pull of the data from third party systems and no active push from the SAP system.
If there are APIs missing or you definitely need a push mechanism from the SAP system, you can add an improvement request to the Continuous Influence Portal for Product Compliance: https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/campaign/3334
Hopefully this helps.
Best regards,
Markus

Dear all
we can assume that SAP will deliver on the long terms "APis" für "push" and "pull" of data. But SAP need time to do so. Please check the SAP roadmap of the product. Be aware of the fact that "such details as you are asking" might not be listed actively in the roadmap
The current available "APIs" are listed in the Online help this is the link to "on premise" version
Hope this helps
