Printing a barcode on a work order

Hi all,

I was just wondering if it is at all possible to print a barcode physically on a work order. It would a linear barcode that would simply be used for copying the work order number into the active field.

I'm more so confused about the printer portion, where it's saying certain type of printers are needed.

Basice requirements:

Print barcode on work order on shop paper print

When scanned enter number into currently active field

Hi Angela,

The 'New-barcode' technology can be used with most of the printers. In this case SAP creates a graphic that contains the lines of the bar code. SAP then prints this graphic.
