PPM - Target object option is missing when importing a project from Microsoft Project (MSP)

Hi Experts,

When I am trying to import an existing project from Microsoft project to PPM-Project Management, the option of selecting "Update Existing Project" or "Create Simulation Project" under Target object is not appearing.

Normally, when we update the data by importing from MSP into an existing project (in Project Management); the system offers above said two options to choose.

Other side, I have selected "User defined" in Project type configuration.

Kindly suggest.

Am I missing some customization or SAP note need to be applied?

My PPM version is S4/HANA PPM 1.0.

Further, due to said fact; whenenver I am importing an existing project from MSP, the system is creating a new project instead of updating existing one.

Also, I maintained mappings as MSP "Title" to Project Management "Project ID" in Assign Fields for Import to Project Management.

This was a very strange behavior which got resolved by own.

Even SAP itself wondered on this issue.
