PPM - Status Synchronization from PS to PPM

Hi Experts,

I want to synchronize PS project definition status to portfolio item status e.g. REL, TECO, CLSD.

I have checked but it could not possible through Standard DFM settings i.e. Status Synchronization.

So, I digged out and found a relevant BADI called 'BADI_CPPM_RPM_PS_SYNC_WBS'.

Is there any other workaround or Std. functionality to achieve that?

Hi,

The usage of BAdI "BADI_CPPM_RPM_PS_SYNC*" is necessary to activate the synchronization from PS to PPM.

That wiki link refers attributes synchronization which we have already achieved Maintain Field mappings in Attribute synchronization.

Whereas, I am looking for Status synchronization.

Also, I checked the BADI "BADI_CPPM_RPM_PS_SYNC_PROJ". The one standard implementation available in BADI is already getting called. But, still the status is not getting updated to Portfolio item when I RELEASED Project definition.

Kindly suggest.

Is there anything else we need to trigger/activate?

Just fyi, we have done following configuration for Status synchronization.

1. Define DFM Object Link Types

2. Maintain Objects for Synchronization

3. Map Business Transactions for Synchronization

4. Map Project/Initiative Business Transaction to DFM Business Transaction

5. Map DFM Business Transaction to Portfolio Management Status
