Hi experts,

I'd like to know if someone have directions on how to find material about Programming in PPM, classes, objects, relations, tables ..., some SAP PDF manual ... or similar. I'm developing in PPM 5.0 and i'm having a hard time grasping all the concepts.

Thanks!

Hi,

Most of the development in PPM 5.0 is based on Web Dynpro ABAP, Additionally understand the floor plan manager.

Below are few helpful links:

1. http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/WDABAP/WebDynproABAP+Home

2. Link: [ Developers Guide for xRPM] [http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/PLM/Developer%27sguideforSAPRPM]

3. http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/PLM/SAPPortfolioandProjectManagement%28SAPPPM%29

Hope this will get you started.

regards

Thkz for your answer N K, but i'm still having problems with the classes in cProjects!

See i already know Webdynpro ABAP, studied FPM but now the cProjects Design architecture is what I'm puzzled with, for example the assignments of Resources in Roles and the relation of that with ACL.

Please don't get me wrong, I'm not talking about functional concepts, I'm talking about technical solution architecture, the way classes are structured between them, what do i have to instantiate or get instances from the memory to access this information. The documentation in this matter is nonexistent.

Now I ask all SAP experts, how can i develop without these basic documentation resource?

Hi Jayme,

I have done extensive developments in cprojects.

Let me know your requirement and i may help you out.

Getting manuals/pdf would be dificult, it is all up there !

It is 20% WD4ABAP and 80% ABAP OOPS . Its good fun enhancing cprojects

Hello abhishek,

My company is urgently looking for an experienced PPM developer who is available in the next few weeks. Do you know anyone. Is it possible to use this forum or is there somewhere else on sdn?

Our partner Accenture was not able to source anyone.

Thanks,

Paul Sheehan
