PPM - Linking Portfolio Item to IO automatically via Object Links

Hi Experts,

We are creating an Internal order automatically from PPM to ECC via Accounting integration in Project Management.

Both PPM and ECC are separate systems.

I assume, I have done all the required configurations. As a result, I can assign/link IO manually in Object link under Relationship tab of a portfolio item.

Not sure if the system can assign/link IO automatically.

Is it really possible to assign IO automatically as an object link in a Portfolio item? Any relevant BADI/BAPI?

Just as an info, the system is able to assign cProject automatically in Portfolio item as a related object under Relationship tab.
