Hi Experts,
In Accounting integration, when the system creates corresponding WBS elements automatically in PS; it sets the status as 'REL' and 'MDLK' in WBS elements.
The business do not need REL status by default on creation of project itself. They need to set REL manually later.
We could able to avoid MDLK by default using a BADI but not REL.
Is there any BADI to set the status 'CRTD' when project structure gets created from PPM to PS?
There is no meaning of being status as 'Created-Transferred-Assigned' in PPM Project elements when corresponding WBS elements in PS are Realesed (REL).

Hello Sandeep,
Unfortunately this is how the standard SAP PPM and PS integration works.. The WBS elements are always sent as Released in PS.
the logic is that all the planning has already done in PPM and the project is ready to go for operation work and incur cost..
As a workaround you can set a User status upon release which blocks posting actuals on WBS..
Hope it helps
Sammar

Dear Sammar,
Thanks for your response.
I agree somewhat but how can we build a logic or assume that all planning has already done in PPM.
We plan for resources costs only in PPM and the plan costs for logistics handles by PS.
Do you agree??
Definitely, user status is always there to restrict Financial postings on WBS.
I feel PPM is still far away from so many integration processes.
Regards,
I agree, there are many gaps within PPM. I don't see it changing any sooner in new versions of SAP PPM in HANA.
we got to live with what we have been given. 🙂
