PPM - ADHOC/ECP Costing from PPM to PS

Hi Experts,

We used a BADI “GCC_PS_PROJECT_DATA “method “MOD_WBS_ELEMENT_DATA_C” to create automatic project/WBS elements in PS corresponding to PPM project elements using Accounting integration functionality.

Also, we maintained controlling level as ‘1’ in Controlling scenario customization but we could able to create WBS elements till Level 4 in PS.

Also, the resources' costs from PPM is getting transferred on L1 WBS level in PS using ECP.

In standard, L1 WBS element itself gets account assigned automatically to all the project elements (Project def. Phase, Tasks) in PPM. By that, all the resource planning costs (using Ad hoc cost estimate/Easy Cost planning) transfers and appears against L1 WBS element itself in PS.

Our requirement is that we want to transfer individual resources' costs (in task) to respective WBS element (NOT L1) via ECP.

Is that really possible???

PPM PS Amount

Phase L1 WBS 7500 USD

Summary Task L2 WBS 7500 USD

Sub-task 1 L3 WBS1 2500 USD

Sub-task 2 L3 WBS2 5000 USD

Sorry not in standard. In standard PPM /PS Cost integration the ECP cost is aggregated at L1 level only..

Yes, I agree this functionality is not available in Standard.

But, Is there any BADI to achieve that?
