Posting Partial Goods Receipt from External WMS / from Retail Stores

Hi,

As part of our implementation, we are planning to use WHSCON IDOC to post goods receipt against ASN (with handling units /cartons) that we receive from our internal/external WMS systems (Please note that we do not use SAP WMS). The issue with WHSCON is it doesn't allow us to do partial receipts (receive 3 out of 5 cartons today and receive the remaining 2 cartons tomorrow). We have to do enhancement for that in the WHSCON IDOC.

On the other side, we are planning to use WPUWBW IDOC to post goods receipt against ASN (with handling units /cartons) that we receive from our retail stores. WPUWBW does allow to post partial receipts against the ASN but it is not updating the goods movement status in the Inbound Delivery.

I just wanted to understand the standard out of the box SAP IDOC that would work for posting partial receipts against ASN (with handling units) and does update document flow and inbound delivery status correctly.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
