Hi All,

I am trying to move content from one XMII server to another (basically we had to change the actual machine where MII was installed). We are using 11.5. Does anyone know which file in the folder structure would store any Portal > Navigation mapping. So I am trying to find out which users/roles were assigned to which navigaton tree items on teh old machine. Thanks!

If you want the exact same configuration copy the following directories:

<drive>:\Lighthammer\Illuminator\Conf

<drive>:\Lighthammer\Illuminator\SysConf

Then modify the <drive>:\Lighthammer\Illuminator\Conf\SystemConfig.xml to point to your new security server like this:

http://<NewServer><:Port>/LHSecurity

If you just want the navigation it is tied to each of the users and roles configured in your system, that information resides here:

<drive>:\Lighthammer\Illuminator\Conf

In the User and Role Directories

With that said I highly recommend against modifying these files directly and recommend recreating your navigation via the xMII Navigation Editor.

BE SURE TO BACKUP YOUR FILES BEFORE YOU MODIFY THEM.

Thanks Sam, thats exactly what I needed, I will reassign the items through the navigation screen, just needed the list of items which were previously assigned.
