PM Notification creation through reference

Hello Experts,

I've created a new PM notification type. This new notification type will be created specifically by referencing another PM notification. I've tested and the process is working fine. However I need you guidance in addressing couple of queries.

1.How ensure the new notification can only be referenced to a specific notification type?( refer inserted png file)

- Can this be handled through customization?

- Can is this be handled at exit level? If yes please suggest the exact exit to be used.

2.While referencing, Code Group coding should not be referenced.( refer inserted png file)

- Can this be handled through customization?

- Can is this be handled at exit level? If yes please suggest the exact exit to be used.
