Hello everyone,
I would like to ask your opinion and suggestion for a plant deletion task. I've made my research so far and I saw that some solutions have already being proposed.
1) Don't delete the plant but rather delete all the associations of a plant with the purgase organisations in (OX17), with the company code (OX18), with the sales organisations (OVX6) and the shipping points (OVXC). Also in OX10 make a statement "Do not use" in front of the plant of interest. Last step would be to change the authorization settings so no one can use that plant any more.
2) From TC EC02 delete the plant of interest. After that in SPRO --> Enterprise structure --> Definition --> Logistic general --> Define copy, delete, check plant.
I would like to ask if I follow the second method, the associations I described at the first are deleted automatically?
Do you have any other suggestion for complete removal rather than keep the plant but delete the links?
Also I want to state that this plant doesn't have any data in the system.
Thanks in advance for your time and suggestions

Hi Marios,
You have tagged this question as a Plant Connectivity question but unfortunately it isn't. Plant Connectivity is a product that allows you to connect physical machines into your SAP landscape.
Thanks
Kevin
