Planned Costs not getting updated

Hi Experts,

I am doing Cost Planning wtih Task based assignment.

I have maintained cost/revenue rates for Tasks and also in Configuration.

After maintaining time ofr Tasks, the Plan costs are not getting updated.

But Internal Order is getting replicated in ECC.

Also whatever Cost Planning I do for Internal Order in ECC e.g Easy Cost Planning. is getting updated in cProjects as planned costs. Also actuals posted in ECC against Internal Order is getting updated in cProjects.

My only concern is why the cost planned directly from cProjects is not getting updated in cProjects?

Please ensure that Planned hrs & planned cost are mainained or not

Hi Nitin,

I believe the Order has been a/c assigned to the task that you are planning.

Pls check the log messages in ECP, also check if you are getting any messages in Controlling cockpit.

I believe Internal Order is assigned at Project defination level, but not at task level. Correct me if I am wrong.

Also it is possible to manually assign Internal order to task using object links.havent try this will this work?

also I have maintained planned hrs and planned costs for Tasks.

Hi Nitin,

You need to account assign the tasks, to update the planned cost in the controlling object.

A/c assignment can be carried out manually in Accouting tab > Account assignment.

hi Sejo,

In my Project at tasks level, Accounting Tab is not visible.It is only visble at project level.

Is it because I am using Single Object Controlling?

Hi Nitin,

The Accounting tab is always available at the project level. In Accouting tab, carry out the accout assignment for individual project elements (task).
