Phase locked whilst a checklist item is opened

Hello All,

We have 30 "Checklist Items" under a "Checklist Header". The Checklist Header is under a "Phase". So, Whilst a user "user_2" is working on "a Checklist Item" it is locking the "whole Phase". If "user_1" is trying to change the Phase level information, we get an error message saying the Object is locked and can be "Displayed Only". But is there any way to change this to meet our business requirement? Thanks for your help.

should not happen. The phase should be shared lockec only, so that other objects under Phase can be processed parallely.

Please use the checklist item dashboard as entry point.

Have you tried accessing via the checklist items dashboard? If this is the the case the higher level elements are read-only to the user and should not be locked.
