Personnel number mapping in EHS

Within the Occupational Health module there is a mapping table that links the HR Personnel number to the internal EHS person number (T7EHS00_MAPPERNR). In our development and test environments this table has several thousand entries - reflecting the number of HR records we have on those systems (fed from SuccessFactors).

However, in the production environment there are very few entries mapped, and the only way I can see entries getting into this table is when I assign people to a Health Surveillance Protocol (if the employee is not mapped, an entry is added).

My question is - how is it these tables are fully populated in Dev and Test, but not in production? Our testing in those environments would only have assigned a small sample of people to protocols, yet it seems that all active employees have been mapped...

So... the mapping table updates when you search for people in EHSASSIGN... you don't even have to add them to the planning board - if you search for last Name = A* and it comes with 1000 entries, you select all and press the tick, it generates mapping entries for any HR entry it's not seen before
