PDF Actions Listed by Unusable in MII 12.0

Hi ,

I followed the isntructions in sapnote_0001109054 to configure the PDF actions in MII 12.0.

1. Downloaded the PDFActions.zip from the SAP Note 0001109054

2. Downloaded the iText-5.0.2.jar from sourceforge http://sourceforge.net/projects/itext/ (Renamed it to iText.jar as suggested in the Note)

3. Dowloaded the iTextAsian.jar file from http://itextpdf.sourceforge.net/ .

4. Uploaded them into custom actions.

5. Deployed the PDFactions.jar

Cleared the Java cache, deleted history folders etc.

When i open the workbench, i am able see the PDF actiosn block and on clicking on it it opens the action items, but when i Drag the action bloeck to a BLS transaction, nothing comes on the sequence. I tried double clicking also. None of the action items come except for PDFpage.

The List contains PDF Document, PDF Table, PDF Image, PDF Barcode, PDF Horizontal Barcode, PDF Text, PDF Page. Of which currently only the PDF page is comming on to the transaction sequence.

Am i missing any steps. Please help.

Step #2 in the SAP note you followed says 'Obtain version 1.4.5' but you mention downloading 5.0.2 ?

Hi Jeremy,

I had always though the latest version would work. Thanks for pointing that out. I will try to download the suggeted version and give it a shot.
