Partial quantity confirmation in SAP ME

Hi,

We are using SAP ME 15.3 Version. Need small suggestion on my business requirement.

Say - We have started the Production order/SFC = 10 Qnty on the first Operation (Cutting).

At the end of the operation, as a operator, he thoughts only 5 quantity is useful for next operation (Coating) and remaining 5 can be scrap/ Rework at later stage.

So, the next Operation (Coating) will start with 5 Quantity which was sent by previous operation.

When i explored, the possible option are :

1 - Enable the quantity field in the POD.

we have tried the option but the problem is that, we have enter the partial quantity before operation starts. But our case, we will enter the partial quantity at the end of the operation . 😞

2 - Log the NC saying that Local rework/ Scrap

While raising the NC, its applicable for entire SFC quantity as per the standard ME. We need to have the option to split the SFC quantity same as S/4HANA/ECC system ( Co11N).

Hello,

As i understand, you have already defined your POD to display the quantity field. In this case, Start the SFC of 10 on the Cutting operation, and then complete just 5 (a partial complete) by entering 5 in the Qty field in the POD and pressing the Complete button. The remaining 5 will remain in work at this operation, and the 5 completed will be in work on the Coating operation.
