A Pareto chart is simply a "sorted" bar chart, typically with a maximum # of bars.

Use a standard bar chart, and use either SQL or BLS to sort the dataset.

A Pipeline chart is typically rendered as either a horizontal bar chart or a gantt chart. xMII can do the horizontal bar chart, but to do the Gantt chart, you need to do a little bit of DHTML magic. I wrote a pretty cool Gantt chart in xMII a couple years ago. I had two versions of it, one using XSL and one using BLS logic. I liked the BLS version better, since it was easier to understand and maintain.

There is a difference between true Pareto chart and a "Sorted bar chart".

You cannot get Y axis on both left hand right side in xMII.

Raman,

Most colleges in the US do not allow the use of www.wikipedia.com as a valid reference for research. Wikis are great ways to share information, but it is impossible to validate all information posted. You may be correct in your assessment, but in this case, a Wiki page is not enough.

In general terms, people can refer to Pareto charts to mean different things. In most cases, in this space, you'll find a pareto chart is just a sorted bar chart.

There is no such thing as "true" Pareto chart. Don't believe everything you read online...
