OSI PI integration to ECC

My current customer has a well established and fully functional OSI PI landscape across multiple plants. Now they want to integrate this to ECC. We have identified a few use cases so far: Order Confirmations, Plant Maintenance, Quality Management, ect..

Can this be done with just MII or is MII + PCo needed?

Hi Chuck,

If you configure PI Web Services on your PI system then you should be able to call it directly from MII but performance wise you will be much better using PCo with MII.

Hi Chuck,

I'm working on a project using OSI PI, and there are some ways to do that:

1. OSIPI (PI Notification) > PCo > MII Destination
2. MII using tagQuery > OSI PI source

Where the first, MII, receives the data automatically and the second, you need to make a data request from the data server.
