Only Representative for External and Internal Business Partners - SVT

Hi All,

Has anybody worked on this function - Only Representative - in Substance Volume Tracking?

There is limited information on Help.SAP and other sources on this.

This is relevant to REACH. Non-EU manufacturers are not allowed to submit REACH registrations but under some Article are allowed to appoint an Only Representative for fulfilling obligatory duties on part of the manufacturers.

But I am unable to understand this in context of SVT.

How will this change or affect or add on to the SVT process?

there is a general OSS note (it is a consulting OSS Note) available explaining the whole SVT stuff. In this document the "Only Rep" is explained as well. This OSS note has been mentioned often here. I am sorry:

But even if you have read that: this functionaliyt is not easy to understand; the same to set up; we are not using this. In most cases you need to discuss with business. is it worth to use it? I am not sure if this functionality is really used often.
