OEE Calculation in SAP DM

Hi support team,

We are testing OEE calculation in line monitor app and there is something that don`t understand how it works.

We had defined morning and evening shifts in DMC (08:00-16:00 and 16:00-00:00). When we access to line monitor at 09:30 to see the OEE calculation with current day as time range selected:

You can see that OEE current score is 0,02%, less than I expected. The workcenter BAUSCH has a standard rate for this material of 6 units per minute, I confirmed 100 units and the OEE should calculate the OEE for productive time, so it has to be calculated for the last half and hour, not from 00:00.

We tried to define a new shift (night shift) as non-productive to verify if the problem was that there wasn´t any shift defined for these hours (from 00:00 to 08:00), but the result is the same.

Is it possible to configure the OEE calculation to take into account only the productive time into a shift?

Is it possible that it depends of the resource status?

Thanks in advance

Hello Piedad,

In SAP DM, Performance KPI is calculated as follows:

Performance = Net Operating Time / Net Production Time x 100%

See all about OEE Calculation formulas here: https://help.sap.com/docs/sap-digital-manufacturing/insights/performance-kpi
