Hello
I need to use EH&S Open connector but in the prerequisites , I need to have two thinghs and I don't know how can I find it 😞
"To be able to use EH&S OCC, the program must be installed locally on your PC. You must have also made the relevant settings described in Customizing under Environment, Health & Safety Basic Data and Tools Tools EH&S Open Content Connector (EH&S OCC)."
Do you have a process ? to install and configure this add-on , the version of environement of SAP ?
Thanks a lot for your answer

Hello ldandois,
The latest version of the OCC is part of the EHS Expert Tool installation file. Please see OSS Note 568302 - Current version of EH&S WWI and EH&S Expert or OCC for the latest Version.
SAP provides an FAQ with the note 1235663 - EH&S OCC: FAQ please read this one before installing OCC.
For troubleshooting see SAP Note 1364100 - EHS-EXP and OCC: Analyzing errors
Best of luck - and nerves of steel 😉

Hello
for your question: "Do you have a process ? to install and configure this add-on , the version of environment of SAP ?"
The answer is: there is no real "on top" docu avaiable (according to my knowledge). Refer to answer of Mark. You have some very small docu in "customizing"; the rest is part of the OSS note
The use of "OCC", the issues in use of "OCC", the variants of use of "OCC" are discussed regulary here. There are many pitfalls in using the tool.
This document is "quite" old (no update done since a lot of time) but may be could be of interest

Wish you the best luck in use of the tool

PS: good examples of old discussions for OCC are may be:

for "doubts" in the use of it may be here:

BUt you will find here many more examples of this kind
PPS: if i am not wrong: this is the last discussion for "OCC" (in 2020): https://answers.sap.com/questions/13016471/mass-chang-of-authorization-group-in-specification.html

Hello ldandois,
I would like to know the purpose of installing OCC
1] Online Data load
2] Offline - Convert your Spreadsheet into .dat file
3] Loading Regularly Content
All above 3 need to install OCC (Which you can get from SAP Market - Your basis team can help you to get it) - But need minor adjustments in OCC Setting while executing like setting up correct path and preferences.

Hello Idress
not sure what kind of information you are looking for. In a nutshell:
The "online" version of use of OCC has more capabilities in comparison to the "offline" use
The load of "regulatory" content is discussed as well often here. So in a nutshell: OCC has now many purposes. You can load content (if you have the data) but you can do an upload of "densitiy" and other data as well
OCC is the follow up tool of the "DataEditor". To a certain extent: the use of the tool for uploading e.g. density data is much "simpler" to understand than to use the Import interface of EHS (the "dat" file is not easy to understand)
Pay attention for "Unicode" related date. Here you need to pay attentio to get the "right" data uploaded to SAP.
