Dear Experts,
I have created 3 characteristics along with Char values.
Char1 – Z_Char1
Char values
A
B
C
Char2 – Z_Char2
Char values
D
E
F
Char3 – Z_char3
Char values
G
H
I
My question is - If in a value assignment, in Characteristic - Z_Char1 , value “A” is selected, is it possible to only display values “ E “ and ” F “ in characteristic Z_CHAR2 when it is chosen ?
And similarly in Z_CHAR3 , can we display “ G “ and “ H “ ?
I know there is a concept of object dependency in characteristics , a few examples is appreciated.
Thanks,
Yogesh

Hello
quite interesting challenge... we have some options for "special" handling of phrase related characteristics in EHS; but for your topic there is nothing in EHS standard which might be used as "straight forward". And most crucial are the "rules". You would need e.g. some "customizing approach"; and EHS is such complex that such an approach is not really helpful Therefore. most of the companies might try to use "Expert Rules" to populate characteristic values. Here the rule is part of the "Expert server rule".
But your objective is different. I assume you are looking fore to have some "input" logic. I can imagine to get something like this (by using the existing BADis): but honestly: i would not invest time to do so. If the effort (to involve) is "ok" for this demand.. no idea
