Not able to open template document

Dear all,

When I try to open template document in CG42, the screen is getting log out.

could anyone please advice?

Hello Lincy

based on your feedback: your "local WWI" installation seems not be correct

a.) if you use e.g. different laptop and log on and it works: we can be pretty sure that there is no "access issue"

b:) Local WWI issues are dicussed often here; but your topic: nether seen; just reinstall and try again

On top: to be on "safe" side: compare your laptop and the other laptop

1.) Windows version should be the same

2.) SAP Gui version should be the same

3.) WinWord version should be the same

4.) and WWI version should be the same

You need enough "access rights" on your laptop (Windows story)

Potentially: check the "WWI Gen Server" cookbook; you have not installed a local WWI gen server: but the "tipps" in the cookbook (windows part) might help

i do not 100% understand your topic. Is "Sap" closed as part of the issues ? Or WWI not "opened" or "WWI" Crashed" during opening? Are you still in CG42 transaction?

In SAP menue there is an option to "reset" the" "front end "process. Did you used this? If not: It is a good idea to "reset" the front end WWI process.

Can you check the same process using e.g. different laptop etc. with SAP/WWI installation so that we can be sure that this is not a "local" issue

As u said, I checked the same process in another laptop and it is working.

Bt when it comes to mine, it is loading and is logged out.
